The Last Airbender

Hello to everyone in the world!

Here Movie Kidtz with you again with a review from movies in theaters now possibly in your town or in DVD, etc.

Well, as my nickname says it all: I'm very addicted to movies. And although the movies theaters lately prices have risen and so on, can not delve into more often, I take my Sundays to check out what’s new on the theaters. For this time I would like to review on: The Last Airbender, also known as Avatar: The Last Airbender.

To be honest, I didn’t had the opportunity to see the entire animated series on Nickelodeon while transmitting. But I got to see some episodes, though. Well ... I'm not really a BIG fan of Shyamalan, I like many of his films both classic like The Sixth Sense to films like Signs and The Happening. In the case of this tape, The Last Airbender, in my opinion was very good, but several things didn’t fit with the original series both in attitudes and in the characters. A case of this (Characters) is Katara, who personifies the actress did a good job, but from what I can see, in the face of the actress was not much resemblance to the character of the series, which could very well determine whether in other characters like the one who personify Aang in the movie. You might tell me that animated characters can’t be always achieved with an actor who look alike the real character. But I just wanted to highlight a fact, not that important really.

In summary, although the story has several parts rather boring or due to adaptation, there were several loose ends; and if we add that in characters like Aang, who in the film is very serious as in the series, specifically the first book (season) was a inmature kid... However, the movie left me wanting to see more and ansiously expecting the sequel.

My rating therefore is 4 / 5. Entertaining and interesting, but with several slopes.

Well, with my score I leave you guys and continue watching movies!

Knight and Day

What's new addicts and film lovers!

Here in writing to all Vents, fans of films, in this section Movie 4 addicts.

Then I tell my dear readers a week ago I had the opportunity to go to the movie theaters and check out something out, an on that I found this film called Knight & Day, which stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Although I was warned by several colleagues and friends about the movie was bad, I decided to check it for myself, because unfortunately I was about to take a number of these tips and if it was not for things in life, I would have lost great movies. A particular case of this problem was the The Prince of Persia film, which by great critics here was very unpopular, the film turned out to be entertaining, not as obvious as it was discussed and whether the actor Jake Gyllenhaal spent a lot of time jumping around like a monkey, it was because the same thing does the character in the video game. But you understand me, sometimes it is better to take a look and draw your own criticism. That’s what I did...

Well, I have to honestly say Knight & Day was very "good", something odd at first, but fine. It didn’t took so long to Tom Cruise to start the action sequences hitting everyone around as a kind of "American Jackie Chan" —In fact, from here all the tape is almost all action sequences—; and after being "saved" in a disaster, Cameron is drugged by Cruise and wakes up later in her home believing it was all a dream, or so she thought. From there, Tom Cruise don’t stop to chase her and insist that she should stay with him because her life is in danger. From there onwards everything is action and a very good comedy.

In order to summarize, slowly you can see that the film is unfortunately in decline and losing strength: The script had its moments with rare footage, without not so much meaning to it and Cameron Diaz's character begins to become irritating.

Since then, in my opinion for you my dear readers is that the movie can entertain you for a while, but there’s a time you most have patience to not get bored after a while. My score for it is: 3.5 / 5. Good comedy and action, but after a while it becomes irritating and absurd, and neither do a lot of funny dialogue help save the tape.

So with no more things to say, I hope this review will help you and then you can decide whether to see it or not.
